The Journey to Becoming Your True Self
The reason this channel is called Exhaustified
Why “Exhausted and Satisfied”?
Eventually, you become the person you’re supposed to be, but only if you’re brave enough. The reason this channel is called Exhaustified is simple: in life, you can either be exhausted and miserable or exhausted and satisfied. The exhausted part? That’s non-negotiable. Being miserable is exhausting, and I’ve been there. When you’re both miserable and exhausted, you stop caring—about yourself, your life, and everything around you. It’s a scary, empty feeling.
But I’ve also been exhausted and satisfied, and I can tell you which one is worth it. Satisfaction takes work—keeping yourself happy, fulfilled, and supporting those around you. That work is exhausting, but it’s fulfilling.
What It Means to Be Exhausted and Satisfied
When you’re exhausted and satisfied, you naturally want to do things that bring joy to yourself and others. I don’t necessarily want to be the reason people are happy, but I want to provide moments and influences that lead to happiness. I want to show others there are ways to find satisfaction with yourself and your life. That’s why I preach this idea—life is exhausting, but the kind of exhaustion you choose matters. You’re in control of whether it’s paired with satisfaction or misery.
Becoming the Person You Want to Be
To become the person you want to be, two things need to happen:
Dive Into the Deep End: You can’t stay in "tutorial hell" forever. At some point, you have to stop preparing and start doing—whether it’s parenting, plumbing, creating content, running a business, or practicing medicine. For years, I would jump from one new thing to another without diving deep. Progress comes when you take that leap.
Listen to Your Gut: That gut feeling? It’s there for a reason. You might not know exactly how things will work out, but you know they’re worth pursuing. Starting this channel, I had no idea where it would lead. But I knew I had to do it. That’s what matters—acting on that gut feeling and trusting it to guide you.
Progress Over Perfection
Nothing in life will ever be perfect. Even major brands release "perfect" products, only to release improved versions the following year. Your journey is no different. You’ll always find ways to improve, but the key is starting. The more you align with your gut feeling and pursue what truly matters to you, the more you’ll feel that satisfaction—even if you are exhausted.
Finding Fulfillment in Challenges
Life isn’t easy. Every challenge you face will require effort and energy. But solving those problems brings satisfaction. I’ve spent the past year renovating my home, working on new projects, and redefining my career path. It’s exhausting, but sitting still and doing nothing would be far worse. Even moments of rest can become exhausting if they’re excessive. Balance is everything.
Moderation and Growth
Life is about moderation—balancing the effort you put into your goals with the time you take to recharge. Start small. Make changes step by step. As you grow, those changes will get bigger and more satisfying. The exhaustion doesn’t go away, but the satisfaction makes it worthwhile.
Final Thoughts
No matter what you do in life, you can’t avoid exhaustion. But you can choose whether it’s paired with misery or satisfaction. When you embrace the challenges, take control of your growth, and align with what fulfills you, you’ll find the satisfaction you’re looking for. Be exhausted and satisfied.
